Job summary

LTM is seeking a Network Security Lead to drive enterprise security operations in a hybrid London environment. You will manage complex security incidents, oversee network platforms, and ensure adherence to BPSS and customer security policies.

The role requires strong experience across SD-WAN, VPNs, NAC, and cloud networking, with hands-on governance and mentoring of engineers. London-based with two days per week in hybrid office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network security and operations.
• Experience designing and securing enterprise and campus networks.
• Proven ability to lead incident/change/problem management and ensure BPSS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise network security operations across LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN.
• Provide L3 technical SME support for critical incidents and outages.
• Administer security platforms (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco FTD, Meraki) and manage policies, VPNs and hardening.
• Manage routing/switching infra from Cisco Nexus/Aruba/Dell/HP.
• Support wireless networks with Cisco/Aruba/Meraki controllers and access points.
• Design and implement NAC (Cisco ISE, 802.1X, MFA) and security controls.
• Drive incident, change, problem and service request processes with SLA adherence.
• Identify vulnerabilities, review advisories and implement remediation plans.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle management of network devices.
• Create operational documentation and knowledge repositories.
• Explore automation opportunities (Python/PowerShell) to improve operations.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical governance and leadership.
• Ensure BPSS security requirements and customer security policies are met.

We are seeking a minimum of 8 years of experience for the position of Network Security Lead BPSS Compliant with strong expertise in enterprise and Campus networking network security cloud networking and Software Defined Networks SDN. The candidate will be responsible for leading network and security operations managing complex enterprise environments driving incident and change management and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards including BPSS controlled environments

Network Security Lead BPSS Compliant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise Network Security Operations across LAN WAN WLAN SDWAN Firewall VPN NAC and Cloud environments
• Provide L3 technical SME support and act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents outages and complex troubleshooting
• Administer and support Palo Alto FortiGate Cisco FTD and Meraki security platforms including policy management VPNs upgrades and security hardening
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus Aruba Dell and HP routing and switching infrastructure
• Support and maintain Wireless Networks using Cisco Aruba and Meraki wireless controllers and access points
• Implement and maintain Network Access Control NAC solutions including Cisco ISE 8021X authentication and MFA integrations
• Design configure and troubleshoot advanced networking technologies including BGP OSPF EIGRP VXLAN EVPN DMVPN HSRP GLBP VPC and IPsec VPNs
• Drive Incident Change Problem and Service Request Management processes while ensuring adherence to operational SLAs
• Assess security vulnerabilities review advisories implement remediation plans and ensure network security compliance
• Lead infrastructure upgrades patching activities and lifecycle management of network and security devices
• Develop operational documentation SOPs KT materials and knowledge repositories
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using Python PowerShell or other automation tools to improve operational efficiency
• Mentor and guide network and security engineers providing technical leadership and governance
• Ensure compliance with BPSS security requirements access controls audit standards and customer security policies
• Participate in customer reviews CAB meetings technical governance forums and stakeholder communications
• Provide support within a 24x7 operational environment including oncall and major incident response activities
