Job summary

A leading technology company in Greater London is looking for a Network Security Specialist – L2 to enhance their IT Network strategies. You will collaborate with IT Operations to design and secure high-availability systems. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of experience and a solid understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Network Specialist capacity.
• Solid knowledge and experience in deploying and managing Linux.
• Proven ability to self-manage and balance assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and engineering of long-term strategies for the IT Network.
• Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct system-related issues.
• Support and evolve the monitoring and reviewing of system dashboards.

Skills

Network configuration of Aruba, HPE, Arista, or Cisco

Troubleshooting complex technical problems

Experience with VOIP and UC technologies

Experience with automation and scripting

Solid knowledge of network protocols

Education

ITSM Framework certifications such as ITIL
