Job summary

ClearRoute is seeking a Network Security Engineer to own firewall policy management and security operations across client estates, using AlgoSec as the central toolset. You’ll partner with engineering and governance teams to translate complex requirements into auditable controls that meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering the AlgoSec Security Management Suite (Firewall Analyser, FireFlow, ObjectFlow, AppViz).
• Experience automating firewall policy management, risk analysis, and compliance reporting with AlgoSec.
• Strong understanding of application connectivity mapping and traffic flow analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own firewall policy management and network security operations for client estate using AlgoSec.
• Review and optimise firewall rule bases, run recertification exercises, build automation to reduce manual work.
• Translate security requirements into auditable controls for regulatory scrutiny.
• Engage with technical and executive stakeholders to balance security, resilience and business needs.
• Support security automation and governance across infrastructure, cloud, and operations.
