Job summary

Response Informatics is seeking a Network Security Engineer to own and deliver security infrastructure projects for a client engagement in the UK. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining firewall rules, VPNs and secure WAN architectures across customer networks.

You will serve as a senior technical reference for security projects, coordinate with vendors for incidents, and support changes, inventory management and lifecycle duties.

We are currently hiring a Network Security Engineer for an exciting client engagement.

Role: Network Security Engineer

Location: Warwick / Wokingham / Corsham / Farnborough, UK (Hybrid - vast majority of work is expected to be remote - however there may be occasional travel to customer sites)

Positions: Contract (Outside IR35)

Clearance: Active SC Clearance, Must have BPSS.

Description

• Technical Ownership of the Customers Security infrastructure estate, processes procedures, documentation and life cycle management.
• Senior Technical point of reference for all Security related projects, Changes or modifications to firewall rule bases
• Senior technical point of reference/escalation and interface into vendor support for all Incidence related to the security infrastructure.

Core competencies:

• Must Have F5, Zscaler & Palo Alto knowledge and recent hands on with these technologies.
• Nice to have is Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, and knowledge of Cisco networking solutions including all the major switching families and understanding of Wireless Technologies and Cisco IPT /QoS /802.1x/ Inflobox DNS.
• VPN Technologies (ipsec, SSL VPN, DMVPN and
• Wide Area Network technologies, including routing protocols.
