Job Overview:

We are seeking a senior Network Cyber Security Engineer to join our Network Security Engineering team, specialising in firewalls and routing. In this hands‑on role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Check Point security platforms to protect mission‑critical renewable energy infrastructure across Europe and worldwide.

The ideal candidate is a flexible, self‑motivated individual with proven expertise in enterprise firewall architecture who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Consultation: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored Check Point solutions.
  • Solution Design: Create effective security solutions aligned with industry best practices and client objectives.
  • Implementation: Lead seamless deployments of Check Point solutions, both remotely and on‑site.
  • Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for clients and their teams.
  • Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Customer Advocacy: Build strong client relationships and provide prompt support.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project records and documentation.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Cyber Security trends and Check Point products.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure client success.
  • Regional Travel: Travel as needed within the region to serve clients effectively.
  • Have strong abilities in understanding customers' technical and operational requirements and accurately include them in SOWs, technical proposals, and all customer‑facing documents.
  • Perform technical project management, establish project milestones according to customer expectations, and hold customers and internal teams accountable to the milestones to minimise project delays.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Thorough hands‑on knowledge of Check Point products.
  • 5+ years of experience with IP‑based networks, network design, and security products.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure (routing, switching, load balancing) and security products (firewall, VPN, IPS, Anti‑Virus, Application Control).
  • Good Linux command line knowledge preferred.
  • Customer‑oriented, with post‑sales experience and direct face‑to‑face service.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and adapt to changes.
  • Translate difficult technical concepts into an understandable format for non‑technical persons.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
