Network Operations Manager South of EnglandJoin OneMedical Group and help shape the future of healthcare across the South Network. We are seeking a strategic and motivated Network Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance of our general practice and urgent care services across multiple sites in the South West, Midlands, and South East.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will lead and support local teams, drive service excellence, and foster collaboration to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care. Working closely with senior leaders, you will implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for service growth.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare operations professional who is passionate about improving patient outcomes, developing teams, and delivering results across a multi-site network.You will be based at one of our network sites (location flexible) and travel to other sites across the network as required.Interviews will be held on 6 November 2025.

Job responsibilities

What youll do

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage, coach and mentor local teams, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Drive Service Excellence: Oversee the operational performance of general practice and urgent care services within the network, meeting contractual obligations and key performance indicators.
  • Foster Collaboration: Build strong relationships with teams, fostering a culture of Working Together and continuous improvement.
  • Implement Strategic Initiatives: Work closely with Senior Leaders to roll out new strategies that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes in the Network.
  • Monitor and Evaluate: Analyse performance data to identify themes and trends, address challenges, and implement solutions that drive efficiency and excellence.

Person Specification
Qualifications
  • Management degree or equivalent (or able to demonstrate significant level of equivalent experience)
  • A formal post graduate qualification, ideally in management or equivalent senior level experience
Experience
  • Significant demonstrable experience in People and Service management
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
  • Experience of service redesign and development
  • Experience of effective management of budget
Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of current health and public sector policies.
