Network Maintenance Supervisor

This hybrid role involves working both from home and on-site across the region, requiring flexibility to travel as needed. The position is 37.5 hours per week and includes participation in on-call and out-of-hours services, including nights, weekends, and occasional overnight stays for planned and unexpected maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first responder and point of contact for ERS, Section 81s, network damages, and diversionary works.
  • Conduct impact assessments, manage cable migrations, and coordinate with external stakeholders to meet delivery milestones.
  • Perform routine asset inspections, document findings, and arrange corrective actions to maintain network integrity.
  • Support complex maintenance tasks and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across all field activities.
What you’ll bring to the role
  • Proven supervisory experience in utilities or telecoms, with strong knowledge of NRSWA and fibre network infrastructure.
  • Hands‑on experience in OSP telecoms build including civils, cabling, and splicing, with solid understanding of CDM regulations.
  • Skilled in risk assessment, stakeholder negotiation, and managing contracted engineering works under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiar with workflow and planning software such as QGIS, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
