Overview

Our members are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Network Hope Activities team as staff cover for 9 months. You will work under the direction of the Project Manager and alongside tutors to deliver activities, support networks, health and wellbeing, and training support to beneficiaries and recruit, train and support a network of volunteers to facilitate the support groups.

Responsibilities
  • Support Tutors, volunteers, senior staff and beneficiaries.
  • Utilise EPM’s resources to source beneficiaries and volunteers locally and liaise with NHS, Social Services, partner providers, schools, colleges, community centres and voluntary organisations.
  • Facilitate and support local support groups.
  • Plan, arrange and run a variety of activities and training programmes.
  • Recruit and support a network of volunteers to co‑facilitate support groups and activities.
  • Conduct home visits to assess the needs of families and inform them of available support.
  • Arrange the selection and delivery of healthy food and drinks and run catering and gardening training groups.
  • Work with sports and fitness tutors to ensure all equipment used in sports/fitness sessions is secure and meets health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee respite and peer group support to families.
  • Develop, monitor, update and review individual action plans for all beneficiaries.
  • Conduct evaluation reports (including case studies) and work with senior management to collate the information.
  • Assist senior management in leading advisory group meetings and lead/facilitate local support group meetings.
  • Other duties as required.
Compensation & Contract

£13.85 per hour, increasing to £14.80 (LLW) in April 2026 - 35 hours per week. Full‑time. Contract 9 months (39 week).
