Overview

The Network Engagement Officer works to help realise the emergence of locally led humanitarian hubs around the world, that are interconnected and interdependent; and supported by Start Network. Hubs are at the heart of Start Network's transition to a decentralised and locally led network of networks. The purpose of this position is to enhance and improve the engagement within and between hubs, facilitating interactive platforms among coordinators, members and leaders in order to widen their reach within this network of networks.

Responsibilities

Support engagements and coordinate hub related events with hub teams, the Start Network and stakeholders, acting as a central link. Provide operational support throughout the hub development process, maximising the impact of progress by proactively documenting and disseminating best practices and learnings.

Qualifications

Skills and experience in communications, engagement, project management and coordination as well as passion in organising events and managing stakeholders.

Salary and Position

£30,520 - £32,046 per year (Competitive Birches rated salary for the local market if based outside of the UK)
