A leading consulting firm is seeking a skilled Network & DevOps Security Consultant for a high-impact contract in London. The role focuses on securing network infrastructures and integrating security within DevOps processes. The ideal candidate has expertise in network security consulting, firewalls, and cloud environments, providing guidance to improve security measures. This role also offers exposure to high-profile security projects, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• Assess and secure network infrastructures and cloud environments.
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security controls.
• Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows.
• Provide remediation guidance and risk mitigation recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve security posture.
• Proven experience in network security consulting.
• Hands-on knowledge of firewalls, VPNs and network infrastructure.
• Experience with DevOps security: CI/CD pipelines, IaC, automation.
• Familiarity with vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• London-based and able to work on-site as needed.

We’re looking for a skilled Network & DevOps Security Consultant to join a high-impact contract project in London. This role is outside IR35 and offers the chance to work on both traditional network security and modern DevOps/Cloud environments.

🔹 About the Role

As a Network & DevOps Security Consultant, you will:

• Assess and secure network infrastructures and cloud environments
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and other network security controls
• Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations for remediation and risk mitigation
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve overall security posture
• Proven experience in network security consulting
• Hands‑on knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network infrastructure
• Experience with DevOps security: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation
• Familiarity with vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills
• London‑based and able to work on‑site as needed
