Job summary

A leading global telecoms company is seeking a Network Design Specialist to design and implement intricate network solutions. Responsibilities include converting customer requirements into solution designs and leading implementations of advanced technologies such as Voice and Security solutions. Ideal candidates will possess expert knowledge in Cisco tools and proven experience in low-level design and post-sale implementation, working remotely within the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in low-level design and post-sale implementation.
• Expert-level knowledge in Cisco Catalyst (DNAC) – wired/wireless solutions and endpoint profiling.
• Cisco ISE (v2.7 & v3.2) – configuration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Capture and translate detailed customer technical requirements into solution designs.

• Convert high-level designs into low-level designs post-sale, implement, test, and hand over to support teams.

My client, a leading global telecoms company, is seeking an experienced Network Design Specialist to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing complex network solutions across multiple technologies and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and translate detailed customer technical requirements into solution designs.
• Lead the implementation of advanced Voice, Network, Wireless, and Security solutions across vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, and Microsoft.
• Work with cutting‑edge technologies including SD‑WAN, SD‑A, ISE, ACI, Webex, MS Teams, and NextGen Firewalls.
• Convert high‑level designs into low‑level designs post‑sale, implement, test, and hand over to support teams.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in low‑level design and post‑sale implementation.
• Expert‑level knowledge in Cisco Catalyst (DNAC) – wired/wireless solutions and endpoint profiling.
• Cisco ISE (v2.7 & v3.2) – configuration and troubleshooting.
• Firewall design, implementation, and configuration.
• WiFi deployments using Ekahau (predictive and APOS assessments).
• Ability to deploy configurations from design specifications.
