Job Summary

The Network Coordinator will, under minimal supervision, be responsible for supporting and managing customer order requirements at designated ports. The Network Coordinator position can operate in a very international environment, both in the region and with colleagues in other locations. The position is ultimately responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders in the ports. This position will also have back-up responsibilities for the Hamburg warehouse manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders from Customer Service Representative (CSR) through to delivery locations
  • Process required paperwork to move products from one location to another, including across international borders
  • Purchase required products as required to fill customer orders
  • Communicate with Customer Service department to advise on status of customer orders
  • Conduct inventory at assigned locations
  • Process transfers from warehouse
  • Shipping – basic documentation preparation and handling
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Oversee processing of new sales order for the region
  • Oversee backorders and coordinate fulfillment planning
  • Submitting documents for customs clearance
  • Scheduling deliveries with vessel agents
  • Scheduling goods collection with carriers.
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills
  • German working proficiency is required (B2+)
  • 3+ years prior order processing and fulfillment experience
  • Proficient with all Office software products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must have excellent communications skills
  • Must have strong listening skills
  • Must have strong problem solving skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, time controlled environment; ability to multi-task
  • Customer service orientation
  • Prior supply chain experience a plus
  • Prior JD Edwards systems experience a plus (JDE planning program)
  • Prior export experience a plus (basic documentation preparation and handling)
  • Prior purchasing experience a plus (transactional)
  • Prior team lead experience a plus
Education/Certifications
  • High School diploma/GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Physical Working Environment

The position works in a climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
