Job description
Overview

Applications are invited for an Administrator to provide a comprehensive service to the NHS Talking Therapy teams at various locations across Lancashire. The post holder will coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.

Responsibilities
  • Be office based at West Strand House Preston and travel to other NHS Talking Therapy bases as required.
  • Provide cover to departments on various sites as directed by the Administration Line Manager to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
  • Provide a comprehensive administration and information service across the Mental Health Network.
  • Coordinate activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
  • Work flexibly in response to the needs of the networks administrative service.
Qualifications
  • Evidence of relevant previous experience, a good general education and excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Knowledge of working within the NHS is an advantage.
  • Computer skills are essential.
  • Flexible approach and ability to work within a busy team.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure effective coordination of duties.
