Job summary

Corecom Consulting is seeking an experienced NetSuite Systems Specialist to take ownership of our NetSuite environment during a period of growth and transformation. The role is hands-on and requires close collaboration with Finance, Sales, Procurement and Operations to optimise processes.

You will contribute to a five-year M&A programme, assess acquired entities, and determine how to integrate systems with NetSuite, driving continuous improvement and consolidating applications where appropriate.

Job description

An established and growing organisation is looking for an experienced NetSuite Systems Specialist to take ownership of its NetSuite environment during a significant period of business growth and transformation.

This is a hands-on NetSuite role where you'll work directly with teams across Finance, Sales, Procurement and Operations to understand how they use NetSuite, identify improvements and configure the platform to better support business processes.

Alongside improving the existing NetSuite environment, you'll play an important role in an ambitious five-year M&A programme. As new businesses are acquired, you'll help understand their systems and processes and determine how they can be effectively integrated with NetSuite and the wider application landscape.

This is an opportunity to become a key NetSuite specialist within the business, combining hands-on configuration with stakeholder engagement, systems integration and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take hands-on ownership of the organisation's NetSuite environment.
• Configure and enhance NetSuite in line with changing business requirements.
• Work with Finance, Sales, Procurement and Operations to understand how they currently use NetSuite and where improvements can be made.
• Translate business requirements into appropriate NetSuite configurations and system changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve NetSuite processes, functionality and user experience.
• Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are effectively translated into NetSuite solutions.
• Understand how NetSuite integrates with other business-critical applications.
• Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into the existing NetSuite environment.
• Review systems and processes within acquired businesses and assess how they should interact with NetSuite.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate applications and move processes into NetSuite where appropriate.
• Support system migrations, integrations and the retirement of legacy applications.
• Help establish a consistent approach to NetSuite integration across future acquisitions.
• Act as a key point of knowledge for NetSuite across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience configuring and improving NetSuite within a commercial environment.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite functionality and business processes.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand their NetSuite requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into NetSuite configurations and system solutions.
• Experience understanding how NetSuite interacts and integrates with other applications.
• Strong requirements gathering and process-mapping skills.
• Experience working alongside Business Analysts and wider technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to explain NetSuite functionality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable managing multiple requirements and priorities at the same time.

Experience working with NetSuite within a manufacturing or distribution environment would be advantageous.

Previous exposure to M&A, acquisitions, systems integration, application consolidation or legacy system decommissioning would also be beneficial but isn't essential.
