The Diocese of Leeds invites applications for a Net Zero & Church Buildings Officer to help churches progress toward the Church of England's net zero ambition. You will support congregations to reduce carbon footprints while ensuring building changes comply with Church processes.

Working in a hybrid model (50%), 35 hours per week, for a fixed 2.5-year period, you will collaborate with volunteers and professionals, and contribute to sustainable care of historic church buildings across the diocese.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Attention to detail with good time management.
• Ability to work independently and with volunteers.
