Job summary

Warwickshire County Council, in partnership with Sanctuary Personnel, seeks a NEST Foster Carer to provide a safe, stable home for children transitioning from residential care. You will establish routines, support developmental needs, and work closely with social workers and educators to secure a positive future for each child.

We welcome experienced individuals or couples with the ability to offer full-time care, a spare bedroom, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable adults in care settings.
• Ability to provide stable, nurturing home and consistent routines.
• Strong communication and collaboration with social workers and educators.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time foster care for a child transitioning from residential care.
• Create a stable home with clear routines and boundaries.
• Support emotional, behavioural and social development.
• Encourage engagement with education, hobbies and daily activities.
• Work with social workers and other professionals to support the child.
• Accurately maintain records and care plans.
