Job summary

Croydon University Hospital invites applications for a full-time substantive Nephrology Consultant. Part-time applications considered.

The post holder will work with existing Consultants to develop the service, including potential sub-specialty development and enhancing renal services locally. Croydon Health Services NHS Trust provides hospital and community services across Croydon; this role offers opportunities for professional development within a busy NHS environment.

Qualifications

• MB BS or equivalent and MRCP or equivalent.
• Specialist Register in Nephrology or Internal Medicine, or CESR eligibility.
• Full GMC registration.
• At least 2 years NHS substantive experience at SPR level.

Responsibilities

• Support Consultants in delivering a high-quality nephrology service.
• Develop a sub-specialty and enhance renal services locally.
• Assist in day-to-day organisation of services in a busy hospital.
• Contribute to undergraduate/postgraduate teaching and exam preparation.
