A regional health trust in Lancaster is seeking an experienced Neonatal Ward Manager. You will manage a team to deliver high-quality care to infants and families, ensuring clinical standards and staff development. The salary ranges from £47,810 to £54,710 annually, pro rata, with relocation assistance available.

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and innovative neonatal nurse to join our team as a Neonatal Ward Manager.
The base site for this role is Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
Supported by the Neonatal Matron, as ward manager of our Local Neonatal Unit, you will have the opportunity to manage and develop nursing staff and services to provide professional and managerial leadership in the delivery of high quality, safe, cost effective care of babies, families and team.
The individual must demonstrate our trust values and inspire and facilitate the development of staff by providing an open supportive and encouraging environment in which all staff feel valued.
The role will also require the individual to maintain clinical credibility and visibility. Shifts within the clinical rota, as agreed with the Matron, will provide opportunities to ensure clinical skills are maintained and provide a varied experience to the post holder.

The successful candidate will be a qualified in speciality neonatal nurse with experience at band 6 or above. You will have specialist clinical knowledge, communication and leadership skills and support the organisation in the delivery of the highest quality of care.
The post holder will manage all aspects of clinical standards and professional practice within the unit and will manage and coordinate staff budget resources and the environment. You will help shape the future of the service supporting the Matron for Neonatal Services.
We operate from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community health care premises.
FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
