Job summary

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is seeking a Neonatal Support Worker for a full-time role (35 hours, 5 days per week) across the London & South East region, including the South West London Chelsea & Westminster catchment. You will deliver high-quality wrap-around care and practical support to families with a baby in Neonatal Intensive Care, working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experienced in child health, education or social care settings.
• Qualification in health or social care is preferred.
• Ability to work with data protection and information sharing rules.
• Comfortable using IT systems including MS Office.
• Understanding of diversity issues and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families with an ill baby.
• Collaborate with health, education and social care professionals to deliver wrap-around care.
• Maintain accurate case notes and communication with families and care teams.
• Support bereavement needs and help families cope with grief and change.
