Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust in Basildon and Southend Hospitals is seeking an experienced Paediatric Dietitian to support neonatal care across two sites. The role is 0.6 WTE part-time, with potential job sharing, and involves clinical leadership on neonatal dietetics.

You will work with a friendly, experienced team and participate in MDT rounds and handovers, with opportunities to help develop the neonatal dietetic service within MSEFT.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with HCPC registration.
• Significant paediatric/neonatal experience.
• Ability to travel between hospital sites.

Responsibilities

• Cover the neonatal caseload across Basildon and Southend Hospitals.
• Collaborate with the wider neonatal MDT, including other AHPs, medical and nursing staff.
• Participate in handovers and MDT ward rounds.
• Help develop the MSEFT neonatal dietetic service with a Band 7 colleague.
