Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is expanding its neonatal pharmacy team to provide expanded coverage across Leeds General Infirmary and St James's University Hospital. The role involves leading neonatal pharmacotherapy, prescribing parenteral nutrition, and collaborating closely with the MDT to improve safety and outcomes for neonates.

The successful candidate will join a large paediatric pharmacy service, with opportunities for professional development, research involvement, and leadership

Qualifications

• Extensive clinical experience within neonates or paediatrics.
• Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Understanding of national pharmaceutical and clinical strategies.

Responsabilités

• Cover neonatal units at Leeds General Infirmary and St James's University Hospital.
• Prescribe parenteral nutrition and support MDT collaboration.
• Provide cross-cover to obstetrics wards and paediatric pharmacy team.
• Contribute to service rota and aseptics unit/paediatric warfarin clinic.
• Lead on safe medication usage, quality improvement, and governance.
