Neighbourhood Housing Officer Swanley, Kent Permanent Part time – 15 hours £38,037 FTE Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Older Persons Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join a leading Housing Association in West Kent , supporting residents in and around the Swanley area to sustain their tenancies and live independently in safe, well-managed homes. THE ROLE As an Older Persons Neighbourhood Housing Officer, you will manage tenancies across approximately 290 properties, ensuring residents receive excellent housing management support that enables them to live independently for as long as possible. Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage tenancies within older persons accommodation, providing tailored housing management and support.
  • Work closely with residents to help them understand and fulfil their tenancy responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain safe, sustainable communities by addressing ASB, safeguarding, and tenancy breaches.
  • Support residents to access adaptations, transfers, or other housing options as needed.
  • Conduct estate inspections, fire safety checks, and ensure compliance with statutory landlord obligations.
  • Liaise with external agencies to support residents with complex needs and vulnerabilities.
