A leading educational provider in Liverpool is seeking a passionate NEET Lecturer/Keyworker to support young people through Foundation Learning. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality education, coordinating employability skills sessions, and helping learners achieve their goals. Candidates should possess a Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject and ideally a teaching qualification. Competitive hourly rate of £30+ is offered.

Qualifications

Are you passionate about supporting young people through Foundation Learning?

We have an exciting temporary opportunity for the upcoming academic year (2025/26) to join our team as a NEET Lecturer/Keyworker.

Location: Knowsley

Contract: Full-Time (36 hours per week) Mon-Fri

Hourly Rate: £30+

Your Role As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning, you will:
  • Deliver high-quality education, training, and skills to college students
  • Coordinate and teach Employability Skills, PSHE, and Tutorial sessions
  • Support learners to achieve their goals and progress positively
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject area A PGCE/Cert.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (or willingness to complete within 12 months)
  • GCSE English & Maths (A-C)*
  • Experience in teaching and/or assessing
  • A proven track record of working with disengaged young people
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies and parents/carers
