Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking motivated candidates to join its three‑year Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) Trainee Program. The role combines practical site experience with structured training at Oceaneering's training centre, developing skills across ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiographic testing.

You will work with Level 2 NDT technicians, gain hands‑on experience, and pursue nationally recognised qualifications while supporting site operations nationwide in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in non‑destructive testing and long‑term career in inspection.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians and supervisors.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to undertake structured training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level 2 NDT technicians with daily inspection activities and site operations.
• Carry out inspection tasks in line with qualifications and procedures.
• Maintain inspection work areas and properly store equipment.
• Complete inspection reports and training records; update relevant documentation.
• Ensure calibration logs are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare equipment and work areas for Level 2 technicians.
