Job description
NDT Technician (PCN Level 2/UT/PT/MPI)

Location: Bradford (Hybrid – covering a Yorkshire patch). Salary £32,000 - £42,000 plus training, early finish Fridays, progression opportunities, company van & fuel card, and other company benefits.

This company has over 40 years of experience providing non‑destructive testing services across the UK and internationally, covering Ultrasonic Inspection (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT) and Positive Material Identification (PMI).

Requirements: PCN Level 2 qualified NDT Technician with background in UT, PT or MPI, able to commute to Bradford, full driving licence, and an autonomous working style.

Responsibilities
  • 70% site visits, 30% office-based work.
  • Conduct non‑destructive testing at customer sites using UT, MPI, PT, PMI via Ultrasounds, Magnetic Fields, Fluorescent testing, X‑ray and other methods.
  • Operate written procedures and report on welding defects.
  • Work Monday‑Friday 7:30 am – 4:45 pm (12:30 pm finish on Friday).
