Job summary

ACEPP UK is seeking experienced NDT Technicians to support the Hinkley Point C project in the UK nuclear sector. You will ensure welding, fabrication and installation meet quality, safety and technical standards.

The role requires PCN Level 2 certification and strong welding/NDT background with site experience. BPSS clearance is necessary, with opportunities to progress within major construction and safety-critical environments.

Qualifications

• PCN Level 2 certification is essential.
• Higher-level PCN/NDT qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and/or oversee NDT activities across site.
• Perform inspections in accordance with approved procedures, specifications and applicable codes and standards.
• Support PAUT, UT and RT inspection activities.
• Review and interpret NDT results and technical documentation.
• Support welding inspection and quality activities across mechanical installation works.
• Work closely with welding, construction, quality and engineering teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Review and support Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and associated quality documentation.
• Ensure inspection activities are accurately documented and fully traceable.
• Identify non-conformances and support appropriate corrective actions.
• Liaise with contractors and key project stakeholders to maintain the required standards of quality.
• Maintain a strong focus on nuclear safety, quality and compliance throughout all activities.
