Job summary

Williams F1 Team is seeking a Quality Control NDT Technician, Heritage & TPC, to ensure components meet stringent standards. The role focuses on non-destructive testing from engineering drawings, primarily in the factory with occasional trackside work, reporting to the Heritage Car Assembly & Planning Logistics, Inventory & Operations Manager.

You will perform NDT on diverse materials, maintain equipment, write designer-facing reports, and contribute to process improvements, while adhering to

Qualifications

• NDT experience on parts made from a variety of materials, including composites and metals.
• Skilled use of NDT and metrology tools and methods.
• Ability to draw sound conclusions on part quality independently.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and organised with clear communication to teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and complex NDT processes using various methods on a range of materials.
• Check that parts passing through the department meet quality standards.
• Maintain delivery KPIs by keeping parts moving.
• Maintain NDT equipment, including calibration and maintenance.
• Write clear reports for designers, manufacturers and other teams.
• Suggest process improvements to products and workflows.
• Stay up to date with safety and quality standards.
• Keep training material and method sheets up to date.
