Overview

A leading precision engineering manufacturer in Walsall is seeking an experienced NDT Supervisor to lead the inspection team. They operate across power generation, petrochemical, and nuclear sectors, delivering high‑integrity fabricated and machined, welded components. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the NDT inspection team and daily workflow.
• Perform and oversee DPI, MPI, and visual inspections of welds and welded components to ASME and ISO standards.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and liaise with production and quality teams.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and calibration controls.

Requirements

• Current or recent NDT experience working in a lead, standalone or supervisory capacity.
• PCN Level 2 & ASNT or equivalent (PCN/NAS410 combinations considered).
• Proven experience in DPI, MPI, and visual inspection.
• Background in welded component inspection within heavy engineering, power, nuclear, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
• Desirable: Radiography/UT experience, supervisory or mentoring background, willingness to train to Level 3.

Hours & Overtime

Days Mon Friday – Early Finish Friday. Overtime: Mon‑Fri Time + A… “Sat Time + A½, Sun Double Time”.
