Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense manufacturer in Chalgrove is seeking a skilled NDT Radiographer. In this role, you will ensure the safety and quality of assemblies and components. The ideal candidate will have a Level 1 ASNT Certification, experience in NDT roles, and proficiency in using digital x-ray systems. Qualifications

• Skilled NDT Radiographer with exceptional abilities.
• Proficiency in radiography using DR and CT.
• Ability to conform to Risk Assessments and Safety Procedures.
• Experience in self-inspection.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and docs.
• Understanding ATPs, QAI and x-ray techniques.
• NAS410 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography to detect anomalies in components.
• Conduct Leak Testing using mass spectrometer.
• Collaborate with various teams to resolve technical issues.
• Drive continuous improvement using the 5S process.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams.

Are you a skilled NDT Radiographer looking for an exceptional career opportunity? This company, a leading manufacturer in the Aerospace/Defence sector, is seeking a talented individual to join their prestigious team in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.

The NDT Radiographer Role

As an NDT Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of assemblies and components that will save lives worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing radiography using DR (Digital Radiography) and CT (Computed Tomography) to detect anomalies and incorrect assembly of components/Assemblies.
• Conducting Leak Testing - Measuring the rate of escapement of helium from cartridges using a mass spectrometer.
• Conforming to Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Explosive Safety, Audits and Procedures.
• Creating and driving a culture of continuous improvement using the 5S process.
• Collaborating with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to overcome technical issues.
  
  

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this NDT Radiographer role will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Level 1 Radiographer ASNT Certification
• Experience in similar NDT roles
• Proficiency in using a digital x-ray system
• Experience in self-inspection
• Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and relevant documentation
• Understanding and interpretation of relevant test ATPs, QAI and relevant x-ray techniques
• Qualified to NAS410
