Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd is seeking an NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive tests and inspect products at various stages of production in Manchester. The role emphasizes MT, PT, and VT/CSWIP testing to ensure material and product integrity, working closely with the Quality Manager to uphold high standards.

The candidate will have PCN Level 2 in MT/MPI, PT/LPI/DPI, VT/CSWIP, with proven NDT experience, and the ability to read engineering drawings and operate quality instruments.

Qualifications

• PCN Level 2 in MT/MPI, PT/LPI/DPI, VT/CSWIP is required.
• Proven experience in an NDT/NDE role.
• Ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawings.
• Experience using quality measurement instruments (weld gauges, micrometres, steel rulers).

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive tests focused on MT, PT, or VT/CSWIP.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Review part prints, procedures, and work instructions for testing accuracy.
• Document reports and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Quality Manager to address quality issues and ensure process compliance.

We are seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform tests and inspecting products at various stages of the production process. The role focuses on non-destructive testing to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various non-destructive tests predominantly focused on MT, PT, or Visual (VT or CSWIP).
• Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment and ensure its correct operation.
• Review part prints, procedures, and work instructions to complete testing accurately.
• Document reports and implement corrective and preventative actions as needed.
• Coordinate with the Quality Manager to address quality issues and ensure compliance with company processes.

Requirements:

• PCN Level 2 in Magnetic Particle inspection (MT/MPI), Penetrant Testing (PT, LPI, DPI), Visual Testing (VT or CSWIP)
• Proven experience in an NDT / NDE role
• Ability to interpret specifications & engineering drawings
• Ability to use Quality instruments; weld gauges, micrometres, steel ruler, etc.
• UK Driving licence and valid passport. Location: Manchester
