Herefordshire Council is seeking a dynamic Natural Environment Manager to lead the ecology, biodiversity net gain, landscape, trees and open space workstreams from Hereford. You will become the technical lead on nature recovery and deliver innovative environmental projects.
You will oversee the LNRS, provide expert planning guidance, manage a team of specialists, and engage with communities to support environmental priorities. A full driving license is required and LGPS enrolment is provided.

Leading a multi-award winning team (LGC Environment 2024 and RTPI Excellence award in 2024) you’ll be the Council’s technical lead on ecology, biodiversity net gain, landscape, trees, open space and nature recovery.
