Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is recruiting a Labourer for roles in Thirsk with nationwide site travel. Accommodation and a food allowance are provided while working away. The position requires reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic to support trades and maintain safe, clean sites.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid CSCS card, a clean UK driving licence and be prepared to stay away from home as required. Previous labouring or construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid CSCS card is required.
• A clean, full UK driving licence is required.
• A clean DBS check or ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Previous construction or labouring experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
• Ability to follow site rules and health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with general labouring duties.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Move materials and equipment around site.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Support the team with general site tasks as required.
• Travel with the team to various locations across the UK.
