Overview

National Sales Manager - Roofing & Cladding Fixings. Area to be covered: National (ideally based in South East, South London or Southern Home Counties). Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 negotiable + bonus based on team turnover target. Benefits: diesel / hybrid or electric company car & comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Promote a high quality manufactured range of fixings and fastenings used for roofing and cladding applications.
• Manage, develop and coach a small team of 2 ASM's.
• Support the team attending customer visits with specialist roofing and cladding contractors; spend remaining time dealing with selected distributors, merchants and waterproofing manufacturers.
• Be targeted on UK turnover; deal with order values ranging from £500 – £15k per project.
• Work alongside internal sales support and provide on-site support for larger projects.

Ideal applicant / Qualifications

• Must have people management experience.
• Must be commercially astute.
• Ideally have building envelope, roofing or cladding sales experience; other related product backgrounds will be considered.
• Ideally knowledge of fixings, fastenings, cladding, roofing, single ply roofing, roof insulation, roofing membranes, bituminous roofing, liquid applied roofing, waterproofing, metal roofing / cladding systems.
• Ideally experience selling to roofing / cladding contractors.
• Must be a team player; confident, hungry for sales with a long-term opportunity.
• Organised and self-motivated.
