National Sales Manager – NI and ROI
Covering all of Ireland (North & South) • Full-time • Closing Date: Friday 31st October
Uform now wishes to recruit a National Sales Manager to cover Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We are seeking a dynamic, driven individual to join our team.
Ideally we would like this role based in Northern Ireland but are open to considering candidates who are based within a 2-3 hour drive of NI, as our business is managed from our Head Office in Northern Ireland
The Role:
The management of the sales function to achieve agreed sales and gross margin targets in line with company objectives, through planning, execution and management of a supportive team of 5 direct reports.
- Sales Leadership: Spearhead national sales strategy to ensure sustained growth and market penetration across Ireland.
- Team Development: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 5 Area Sales Managers, setting clear performance goals and providing ongoing support for professional development.
- Key Account Management: Take direct responsibility for the management and growth of 5 pivotal company accounts, building trusted relationships, identifying new opportunities, and maximising account potential.
- Financial Growth: Increase the regions sales, contribution, and margin figures through strategic customer, opportunity, and team management
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the kitchen and bedroom sectors, adjacent markets, and proactively position Uform as a partner of choice.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to inform strategy and maintain Uform’s competitive advantage.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights to senior management, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision making.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in field sales within a B2B sales environment.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in management of a team of ASMs or Sales Executives from a B2B sales environment
- Ability to Evaluate regional and individual performances of areas and ASMs.
- Experience in assisting ASMs with the preparation and review of the annual sales forecast for the area of responsibility.
- Proven Sales Success: Demonstrable track record in driving sales growth and managing key accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership Experience: Experience managing and developing a sales team, ideally with a national scope.
- Operational awareness and knowledge of a distribution/manufacturing environment i.e., deliveries, remedials, replacements, etc.
- Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and maintaining enduring client relationships, with a consultative approach.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and implement effective strategies based on insights.
- Knowledge and experience of aligning sales plans to strategic business objectives.
- Experience in setting and managing KPIs.
- Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, overheads, etc.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in adapting approach to suit diverse clients and situations. Excellent organisational skills, including working to deadlines
- A driven and self-motivated individual with the ability to use their own initiative and work with minimum supervision
