National Sales Manager

£50,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Car or Car Allowance

Responsibilities
  • Develop a portfolio of prospects through agreed channels
  • Gain and implement new business opportunities for the client whilst maximising revenue and margin for the client
  • Develop and implement an approach to secure competitors in the shortest time possible
  • Ensure strategic management of customer relationships to drive the highest possible level of service, protect customer relationships, and identify extra opportunities within the customer, associated companies, suppliers, and peer group
  • Develop and implement a sales plan and call cycle that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business, and maximises growth of existing major account customers to achieve individual sales (volume and profitability) targets
  • Manage all customer-related service information by communicating with the Supplier Manager to resolve customer issues and protect customer relationships
  • Monitor customer performance, loyalty, and satisfaction to measure success, business fluctuation, and possible business at risk. Take appropriate corrective action
  • Continuously develop the client's knowledge, commercial awareness, and own skills and abilities to provide the best possible standard of sales practices and maximise personal contribution to the selling process
  • Promote the client's brand image and values through personal appearance and behaviour to reflect the client's high standards and strengthen customer relationships
  • Understand customers' IT and despatch infrastructure to tailor the client's solutions appropriately
Education & Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum 3-5 years sales background in a consultative selling environment within the service industry
