A leading Security Systems organization is seeking a National Sales Manager based in Kent. The role involves driving sales growth, managing key client relationships, and leading the sales team to meet revenue and margin objectives. Candidates should have experience in technical B2B project sales and possess excellent stakeholder management skills. Frequent national travel is required for this position.

National Sales Manager - Kent / National

£85k + fully expensed Electric Car + bonus

Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with a leading Security Systems and Solutions organization to make the key appointment of National Sales Manager (Kent based with national travel).

Reporting to the Managing Director, the National Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, with the primary focus will be to lead the sales in securing new product orders that ensure revenue & margin objectives are met.

The National Sales Manager will be instrumental in building strong relationships for you and your team with key stakeholders, including National Main Contractors, Architects, Consultants, Security Integrators, and End Users. Additionally, you'll lead our development efforts across various verticals, implementing unique growth & marketing strategies for each sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceed Targets: Set & surpass team & personal objectives related to order intake, margin, & product mix.
  • Client Management: Directly manage key client relationships and support your team in doing the same.
  • Strategic Project Responsibility: Take ownership of strategically important projects as needed.
  • Key Account Development: Create and grow key accounts by identifying opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and expanding business within these accounts.

Frequent national travel required

About you:
  • You will have experience in technical b2b project product sales and leadership
  • You will have specification sales experience (architects, security consultants etc.)
  • You will ideally have experience of selling into Government agencies (not essential, but desirable)
  • You will have experience of leading sales teams and prospecting by sector and regionYou will have an understanding of contracting and working within NEC / JCT contract structures
  • You must be able to obtain at least SC clearance level (DV ideally) - This is essential
