An environmentally friendly packaging converter seeks a candidate to market a range of products designed to remove plastic from the E-Commerce sector.

The candidate will have a proven track record in senior-level sales, ideally selling packaging to retailers. They are looking for someone whose ambition and determine will rival their current standing directors.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  1. Research new clients, products, markets & exhibitions / events on a national basis.
  2. Prospect / cold call utilizing own initiative, industry knowledge & best practices eg. LinkedIn.
  3. Persuade new prospects and lapsed customers to place physical orders and / or accept a meeting to establish packaging needs.
  4. Maximise profitable opportunities by understanding client operation savings vs price paying.
  5. Increase company participation in tendered packaging opportunities.
  6. Attend exhibitions & relevant training courses to develop knowledge, techniques, and skills.
Personal Specification
  • Positive mindset with care of their work, clients & colleagues.
  • Proven track record of senior-level sales is essential, ideally in selling packaging to retailers.
  • Highly motivated and able to work effectively under own initiative.
  • Confident in liaising with company Owners / Directors and prestigious blue chip companies.
  • Ability to challenge / persuade prospect if hurdles need overcoming.
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Maximises ‘cold call effectiveness’ adapting prospecting method (e.g. LinkedIn / teams)
  • Superb telephone manner & communication skills
