We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a National Operation Tutelage Coordinator in our GoSafe Team, based in the Police Collaboration Wales department. Could you be who we are looking for?

This is a temporary role until March 2027.

About The Team/Department You Will Be Joining
  • GoSafe is the all-Wales Road Safety Road Partnership, the main objective of which is to make Welsh Roads as safe as they possibly can be for all road users.
  • GoSafe, in partnership with the South Wales Central Ticket Office, is the UK national service hub for Operation Tutelage.
  • Operation Tutelage is a national policing operation, which in collaboration with the Motor Insurer’s Bureau aims to tackle the estimated one million uninsured vehicles which regularly use our road network.
About The Role And Your Key Responsibilities
  • The national coordinator will work closely with cross functional teams, stakeholders and clients to define and execute the programme’s goals.
  • They will be responsible for the planning and delivery of current activities, and future prospective activities to ensure that they align with the strategic goals of the operation.
  • They will be required to define and develop programme goals and deliverables in support of business objectives.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role
  • The successful applicant must be able to think strategically and make decisions which balance long term goals and short-term needs.
  • The successful applicant must have experience in managing budgets whilst delivering complex programmes and operations.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in working with senior leadership and managing stakeholder relationships.
