Job summary

Selwyns Travel Limited is recruiting a Coach Driver to operate National Express services across the UK. You will be the face of our service, delivering safe, reliable and comfortable journeys on routes including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Milton Keynes, Blackpool, and Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Full UK PCV (Category D) Licence.
• At least 12 months bus/coach driving experience.
• A valid Digital Tachograph card (must have prior to start).
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No unspent criminal convictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate National Express routes across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.
• Provide safe, reliable and comfortable journeys for passengers.
• Act as the face of the service with professional customer care.
• Maintain schedules and comply with tachograph regulations.
• Work various routes including regional duties with weekend/rest patterns.

The role:

Join the team operating services on behalf of one of the UK’s most iconic travel brands. As a Coach Driver on our National Express network, you’ll play a key role in delivering a safe, reliable, and comfortable journey to passengers across the country. Whether you’re driving long-distance or regional routes, you’ll be the face of our service – professional, courteous, and committed to exceptional customer service.

We currently have open vacancies on:-

• Operates between Manchester, Liverpool and Leed
• Average 48.5 hours per week before overtime
• Latest finish time – 12:15
• At least 2 rest days every week
• 1 weekend off every 3 weeks
• Operates, in the main, between Liverpool / Manchester – Milton Keynes (no London driving), Blackpool – Birmingham and Liverpool – Leeds
• Average 40 hours per week before overtime
• Tax free meal allowance payable on some duties
• Latest finish time – 04:00
• At least two rest days every week, 3 rest days on over 1/3 rd of weeks

You must meet the following essential criteria:

• A full, UK PCV (Category D) Licence
