Job summary

A civil engineering company is seeking enthusiastic General Operatives in the Banbury area to join their teams on various construction sites primarily within the water industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in general civils work, including concreting, deep drainage, and pipe-laying. A proactive attitude towards work and health & safety is crucial. The position requires a CSCS Touchscreen card and a Driving Licence. Opportunities for plant ticket progression may also be available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a wide range of Civil Engineering, particularly general civils work.
• CSCS Touchscreen & 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course is a minimum requirement.
• Driving Licence is essential.

General Operatives – JN Bentley

We are looking for enthusiastic and positive General Operatives who live in the Banbury area to join one of our gangs currently working within the Thames Water Framework. In this role you will work as part of a gang on various construction sites predominantly within the water industry. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health & safety, ideally with experience of general civils work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying.

• Experience within a wide range of Civil Engineering – primarily general civils work, concreting, excavations, deep drainage and pipe‑laying.
• CSCS Touchscreen & 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course – Minimum requirement.
• Ideally holding or working towards your CPCS / NOCN / NPORs Plant Tickets.
• Driving Licence essential.
