Job summary

New Way Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Clinical Auditor to support a nationwide care provider with clinical audits, quality assurance and service improvement across its services nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, proven auditing experience, and a good grasp of governance, compliance and regulatory standards. Travel nationwide and collaboration with managers and frontline teams are essential to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical background with RN or equivalent.
• Proven experience conducting clinical audits in health or social care.
• Understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Experience reviewing care documentation, identifying risks and making improvements.
• Strong analytical, organisational and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical audits across care services nationwide.
• Review care plans, medication management, clinical records and documentation.
• Assess compliance with legislation, regulations and best-practice standards.
• Identify risks, gaps in compliance and areas for improvement.
• Produce clear evidence-based audit reports with recommendations.
• Support service managers and clinical teams to implement action plans.
• Monitor progress and ensure improvements are achieved.
• Promote high standards of clinical governance, safeguarding and person-centred care.
• Support continuous quality improvement and service readiness for regulatory inspections.
