Location: Field Based – Travel expected to sites, offices and customer meetings

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‑beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots servicing customers up and down the UK.

About the role:

As National Account Manager for Carlsberg Britvic’s soft drinks portfolio with a focus on Retail, Cash & Carry and Digital performance, you will develop and implement effective sales strategies and execute brand plans – you will be the catalyst behind the delivery of the P&L and thriving customer relationships.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with your manager in the creation of an account contact strategy and then manage its execution to drive and capitalise further business opportunities.
  • Execute commercial plans for the Carlsberg Britvic soft drinks portfolio to deliver against budgets.
  • Build strong customer relationships to deliver excellence in price, promotion, branding and point of purchase – including, online, depot and retail/outlet availability.
  • Create a collaborative, cross‑functional network to unlock further business opportunities – relationship building in depots and outlets to build knowledge and insight and any learnings that can be applied to your current portfolio.
  • Proactively track performance and understand the key drivers of performance to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan.
  • Ensure all investment is evaluated and using appropriate ROI tools, reviewing accordingly.
  • Deliver exceptional operational knowledge for Softs forecasting and financial processes, being accountable for managing the commercial administration (i.e invoices, rebates etc).

  • Confident to work independently, using own initiative whilst managing relationships and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of attention to detail and organisation.
  • Good understanding of account and financial management concepts/processes from robust and reliable S&OP planning through to invoice receipt.
  • Can take an analytical or data driven approach to identify trends, assess performance, and make informed decisions.
