Job description
National Account Manager – Foodservice

Sales – London – Hybrid

We usually respond within two weeks.

Hello potential future Oatly employee. It’s us, the original oat drink company that started in Sweden back 30 or so years ago. Our mission? To make it easier for people to eat better and live healthier lives without throwing the planet under the bus in the process. If that makes you want to stand up, fist‑pump, and shout, “Yes!” or even just a mild “Cool, I’m into that”, then maybe you’d like to join us.

The Role

You might've first fell in love with Oatly by finding us in the best coffee shops across the country, and the Out of Home (OOH) sector – and in Foodservice sector in particular. Foodservice continues to be just as crucial to building the brand today. We’re looking for a National Account Manager (NAM) – Foodservice to manage our Foodservice Wholesale customers. You’ll be responsible for building and managing the relationship with those customers, becoming an expert in how they work and how we can win together. Here’s what the role looks like day‑to‑day.

  • Manage the relationship with our key Foodservice Wholesale customers – building super strong relationships with a range of contacts across these businesses, from senior buyers to field sales teams.
  • Create & execute complex customer joint business plans that help deliver against Oatly’s goals and those of our customers.
  • Bring on new business by working closely with buyers to explore opportunities and identifying new route to market partnerships.
  • Plan, negotiate & execute game changing NPD launches smoothly and effectively.
  • Be the voice of your customers internally – developing a strong understanding of them, how they work, their goals, and how we can work together to achieve them (as well as our own).
  • Accurately forecast volume sales for your customers and track performance against those forecasts, providing clear updates to the business on performance.
  • Deliver against volume and spend targets and continually work to find new opportunities to hit those targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider OOH team, Including globally, to share learnings and further your business.
Who You Are
  • You’re passionate and engaged in the Out of Home sector – in particular the world of Foodservice.
  • You’ve got demonstrable experience managing foodservice wholesalers, either national or regional; or you work in a sales role for a Foodservice wholesaler with experience winning new business and managing a P&L.
  • You have strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience in executing joint business plans (JBPs).
  • You’re motivated by building relationships, energised by being out with your customers, and driven by delivering (and exceeding) your targets.
  • You’re a data lover, taking advantage of the numbers to discover performance trends and opportunities – and sharing these internally and externally.
  • You’d consider yourself a self‑starter who doesn’t need direct supervision to motivate you for success – you love taking ownership of your work with all the freedom that comes with it.
  • You want to be part of a motivated, enthusiastic, kind, positive and values driven team – excited by our mission to change the food industry through our values of sustainability, health and trust.
