Role Overview

Max is awaiting an SEN school placement (expected September 2026). You will follow a structured weekly routine, building a trusting relationship while consistently implementing behavioural and communication strategies. The role includes supporting PECS communication, emotional regulation, transitions, toilet training, outdoor play, meal preparation and light child‑related household duties. Collaboration with parents and therapists is essential.

Essential Requirements
  • Experience supporting autistic children, including behaviours that may challenge.
  • Experience supporting non/pre‑verbal children and promoting language development using PECS.

  • An experienced, energetic SEN Nanny/Manny with strong autism experience, particularly with pre‑verbal children and behaviours that may challenge.
  • Confident implementing PECS.
  • Enjoys active days outdoors, strong swimmer, emotionally resilient.
  • Shared interest in music or football is a bonus.
Start Date & Hours
  • Start Date: January 2026 (minimum contract until September 2026)
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (typically 9.00am‑5.00pm with flexibility).
  • Additional hours: Babysitting by agreement (paid extra).
