About the Children

Meet Nate (5) and Luca (almost 4): two bright, affectionate, and energetic brothers.

Nate is cheerful, easy‑going, and loves singing, dancing, trampolining, and outdoor play. He attends a mainstream school with 1:1 support. He has ASC, visual impairment, and low muscle tone. He can become overwhelmed, but gentle humour and distraction usually help him reset.

Luca is curious, thoughtful, and full of imagination. He enjoys Duplo, dress‑up, creative play, building, and making things. The boys generally get on well as they continue learning how to navigate their different personalities and needs.

Role Overview

You will support Nate and Luca through their afternoon routine during term time and provide full days during school holidays. Two late finishes each week are preferred. Extra hours may be available for batch cooking or light nursery duties.

Luca starts school in September; until then, some days include collecting him from nursery at 2:30pm before walking to collect Nate from school.

Afternoons are calm and child‑led, giving Nate time to decompress after school. Activities may include crafts, outdoor play, imaginative games, or dressing up. School holidays offer the chance for longer outings and varied activities.

The role offers £20.00‑£21.00 gross per hour, depending on experience.

This Job Would Suit

A nurturing, patient SEN Nanny/Manny who uses warmth and understanding rather than strict discipline. Someone who brings calm energy, fairness, and positivity, and who can happily join Nate in repeating a favourite game with a genuine smile. You’ll support both boys in a kind, balanced way, helping them enjoy their afternoons and holidays to the fullest.

Why You'll Love This Role

You’ll be joining a warm, welcoming family with a long‑standing nanny of five years. The parents are supportive, value professional development, and are happy to cover OFSTED registration and additional first‑aid training. This is a rewarding opportunity to become an appreciated and trusted part of family life.
