Job description

A lovely family in Chiswick, London, is looking for an After‑school Nanny to help look after their two school‑aged children. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, energetic enough to keep up with the children while handling light housekeeping tasks related to them. The nanny will also cook and prepare meals for the children.

The role is a split‑shift rota, so the candidate should be comfortable with this set‑up. They prefer someone who lives close by and must not rely on public transport. A local candidate is a must.

Qualifications
  • Valid first aid qualification.
Working Hours

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:15 am to 8:45 am, then 2:45 pm to 8:00 pm – approximately 28.5 hours per week. School holidays will be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:15 am to 8:00 pm.

Duties
  • School drop‑offs and pick‑ups.
  • Take the children to after‑school clubs.
  • Ensuring the safety, well‑being, and development of the children.
  • Maintain proper hygiene where needed.
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.
  • Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
  • Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
  • Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s structure and development.
  • Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
  • Children’s ironing.
  • Cook and prepare meals for the children when needed.

The family will hire on 5 January 2026 and will be happy to meet potential candidates.
