Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for our family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires a blend of teaching, engaging activities, and basic household support to promote the children's development and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor excursions.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions.
  • Assist with homework and educational tasks, fostering a love for learning through creative teaching methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities and ensuring the children's areas are safe.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
  • Provide transportation for children to school, extracurricular activities, or playdates as needed (driving required).
Experience

Previous experience in childcare or nannying is essential. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus. A background in teaching or educational support is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and parents alike. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation duties.
