Role Overview

An amazing family needs a “part of the family” Nanny/housekeeper for a lovely young lady who is four years old.

Location and Working Hours

• Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
• Days of work: Monday – Friday and occasionally a Saturday evening.
• Hours: 2 pm – 7 pm (details discussed; flexibility important, includes one evening of babysitting).

Salary and Employment

• Pay: £19,000 – £23,500 per annum gross.
• This is a permanent position, shared care and sole charge.
• Position will start early January 2026; family wants to introduce the nanny from December.

Key Responsibilities

• Look after a four‑year‑old child.
• Light housekeeping duties including tidying, shopping, laundry etc.
• Take the child on park trips and engage in fun activities.
• Be a role model and use initiative.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years nanny experience.
• Valid DBS certificate.
• A clean driving licence.
• Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, a 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of 2 professional referees (one current or last employer, both immediately contactable) as required for all roles with children and the vulnerable.
• Optional: own child, second language, personal insurance.
