Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Senior MV/ML Testing Engineer to design, implement and validate procedures for MV/ML inspection applications. You will develop software changes to align with IT security standards and build automated testing tools to gather KPIs from systems deployed globally.

The role requires Python expertise, ML experience, and strong C++/Visual Studio skills, with collaboration across international teams. Hybrid work is available in London/Manchester.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Python development for large software.
• Experience with ML applications and testing of big systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and Visual Studio, plus cross‑site collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test MV/ML inspection applications under patch cycles.
• Develop software modifications to meet CHEP IT security standards.
• Create automated tools for testing, simulation and KPI data gathering.
• Deploy MV/ML tools and patches across CHEP and partner centers.
• Produce formal documentation for testing procedures and results.
