A leading music education service in the UK is seeking enthusiastic freelance music tutors to teach Upper and Lower Strings. Tutors will work in various schools and music centres, nurturing a love of music in students. Successful candidates will receive ongoing support and growth opportunities. Kingston Music Service is currently looking to add talented and enthusiastic tutors to their Freelance Music Tutor Panel. We are especially looking for tutors to teach upper and/or lower strings. There are currently opportunities to join our friendly team to teach in schools and music centres.

The friendly team at Kingston Music Service, is looking to add talented and enthusiastic tutors to their Freelance Music Practitioner Panel to start work in as soon as possible. We are especially looking for freelance tutors to teach Upper Strings on a Thursday evening at our Tolworth Music Centre and a tutor of Lower Strings to build on our cello teaching. There will be opportunities to teach in schools and in Music Centres, teaching individually, in small groups and possibly to larger groups.
We are looking for gifted and committed musicians, with a passion for music education who are able to nurture a love of music in all they teach through the use of varied repertoire and pedagogy. In turn, KMS offers all tutors INSET throughout the year, continued support and encouragement to expand their teaching experience through shadowing, training and a range of growth opportunities.
Kingston Music Service (KMS) offers a range of music activities for young people and adult learners at home, in school and at four music centres across the borough. KMS is a Local Authority service which is a member of South West London Music Ltd , who is the Hub Lead Organisation of the South West London Music Education Hub. This group of organisations including schools, arts organisations, community or voluntary organisations, work together to create joined‑up music education provision, respond to local needs and fulfil the objectives of the Hub as set out in the National Plan for Music Education .
